These Are a Few Of My Favorite Things (From Pinterest)

Hello lads and laddies! I was hoping to find a few Thanksgiving gems for you this week but it seems that Pinterest has skipped Thanksgiving entirely and moved straight on to Christmas (I even saw something for Easter today).

One thing we can all agree on is that it is FOOTBALL season and as playoffs draw near, you might host a game or two at your place. This deep dish pizza dip looks RIDIC. It is in no way healthy or good for you, but sure to be a crowd pleaser. Get the recipe here:

I found this pin under “living room decorating”. I sincerely hope this person (and the 30 repins) were joking. I don’t see anything cute about a stuffed chicken with a Bon Jovi ’80s hair cut and a skull trying to be all romantic with a rose in its mouth. But you know, to each their own.

I’ve been seriously considering organizing every junk drawer, cabinet and my entire kitchen for about a year now. This link provides some common sense/creative ways to declutter and get your life together using the POYEL method. I’m glad I have this information, but let’s be honest – it will still probably be another year before I get around to it.

Hate wearing heels because they leave heinous blisters all over your feet? Fear no more! Enter the key sock – a sock/legging thing that you can wear under your jeans to protect your toesies and heels from your super cute shoes. Please don’t wear with a dress – a surefire DDT.

If you are planning on hosting a holiday event this year, you’ll probably need drinks. Try the Candy Cane – a yummy Christmas beverage using Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur, Peppermint Schnapps and crushed candy canes:

And it appears this rainbow has had one too many…

Happy Friday!

She is also an accomplished writer, winning not one but two essay contests in her elementary school years that landed her in the local newspaper. Now living in Carmel, IN, she loves hanging out with her friends, shopping (only if she knows exactly what she wants and doesn’t have to try anything on), traveling everywhere and going to the movies nearly every weekend with her husband. With a degree in public relations, she still doesn’t know exactly what she wants to be when she grows up, but Creative Director of Don’t Do That LLC has a nice ring to it.
